We have recovered water at CCES and will be having school on Monday. This is a great reminder to parents to have an emergency plan in place for your kids in the event we ever have to dismiss early. Early dismissals aren’t just for snow events!

We are experiencing a water issue at CCES. Students and staff have access to bottled water for drinking and we are managing the toilet facilities flushing when we have recovered enough water to do so. We have plenty of hand sanitizer available. We plan to dismiss at our regular time and will work to have the issue resolved in time for school to resume on Monday.

We have received notification of one additional positive pool at CCES from our pool testing on Tuesday. However, secondary tests did not reveal a positive individual. We will continue to test this pool until we find the positive or our testing schedule catches up to next Tuesday. All parents of the students in this pool have been notified.

Good Morning! We are all anxious to receive the results of the pool testing round completed yesterday. We have not yet received our results but will communicate with you once we do. With more schools participating and labs overrun with testing we may not get our results until tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

Happy Friday! It has been a very busy week but we are so grateful for all of the support and cooperation we have experienced this week in regard to pool testing. It is not a perfect program but it is working to identify positive cases and keep us open to in person learning. Please remember to monitor all students for symptoms and keep students home if they are present, even if they are participating in pool testing. If symptoms are present, students should be seen by their medical provider. We are not a walk in testing site. Thank you!

The lab has made us aware of another positive test pool at CCES. All secondary tests have been administered today and the positive case of COVID-19 has been identified.. All close contacts of the positive case have been notified of their need to quarantine. An email will follow shortly with additional information about an additional positive case at CCES we were notified of today that was not identified through pool testing. In total CCES has 6 new cases of COVID-19 this week.

All of our secondary testing is now complete and we have identified 6 positive cases of COVID-19. There are 4 positive cases at CCES, one positive case at CMS and one positive case at CHS. We are working on contact tracing now and hope to have it complete by the end of the day. Thank you for your patience!

Good Morning. Yesterday, RSU 64 started its Pooled Testing Program. This morning we were notified of 5 positive pools. There are 3 positive pools at CCES and one each at CMS and CHS. Nursing staff are now working to test the staff and students in each of the positive pools. Once the positive case is identified administrators will be completing contact tracing. We will be in touch with all parents of the positive pools as soon as we can. Please be patient as this process will take time to complete given the volume of secondary tests we need to complete. Thank you for your understanding.

Coming home with students today are several important forms. Although breakfast and lunch are free for all students this year, the District still needs you to complete the meal application. This information is used for SEVERAL grants and state funding. Please, please, please complete this form even if you think you wouldn’t qualify for benefits. Thank you!

As we get ready for the new school year, we know we will need substitutes to fill various roles. If you are interested or know someone who is interested, please contact the Superintendent’s Office at 207-285-3334 for more information. We are in great need of Food Service and Custodial substitutes at this time.
