September 15, 2021

Today is a RED Day.

To all students staying after school for various reasons.  If you are waiting on an activity to start, or have finished one and are waiting on the late buses, you should be going to the Bubble Room in C5, Mr. Coffin's room. Students should not be wandering the school or hanging out in other areas once the day has ended. So again, if you are here after school for a club or activity, or to serve detention or receive extra help from a teacher, you must be there or in the Bubble Room until the late buses arrive.

Juniors and seniors are reminded to turn in the yellow Military paper by Friday to the guidance office.  If you do not have this form completed and signed by a parent, your name and address gets released to military recruiters.  Go to the Guidance office if you need a new paper.

A representative from the marines will be here during period 4 on Thursday.  Please get a pass in the guidance office that morning if you would like to meet with him.

The Drama Club will meet in the gym this Thursday from 3:00-3:45.  If you didn't sign up, just see Mrs. Goodwin before then.

Seniors and freshmen will be getting passes in their morning advisories to come to the guidance office for senior and freshmen meetings.  It is important to attend these meetings.

Any freshmen who would like to run for a Class Officer position or for Student Council, need to turn in your petition by the end of the day today to Mrs. Randall.

Students are reminded to bring their own mask to school each day.

There will be a meeting of the Student Council on Friday, September 17, at 7:30 am in C3.

Picture day will be Wednesday, September 22.  Picture packets will be given to your advisor.  All students will be photographed for school purposes.

Central's Civil Rights Team will meet today at 2:45 in the Student Success Center.  See Mrs. Clement in the SSC if you have questions, and please check your email!  This is our first meeting of the year and we have great things to accomplish!

It's time to buy a yearbook!  Yearbook forms are available from your advisors, and at the window of the office.  Yearbooks are $52.00, and for a limited time you can get free icons on the cover if you purchase personalization.  All payments go to Mrs. Rollins in the office.

Seniors - make sure you join the Class of 2022 Yearbook Google Classroom. You have received an invitation in your school email. There will be lots of information posted there about your senior yearbook, including sharing senior pictures and voting for superlatives.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
